FunctionalityWhen the vehicle is parked and the driver has left and locked their vehicle, the car alarm TX-100 can be activated via the remote control supplied. If an unauthorised person gains access to the vehicle, the 110-db alarm signal will be triggered as they enter the vehicle interior to deter the unauthorised intruder. And if the intruder removes the car alarm, it will continue to sound thanks to the built-in battery. The alarm sounds for a maximum of 2 minutes and can only be deactivated using the remote control supplied.
When the alarm is armed, the cigarette lighter socket simply serves as a holder for the alarm and does not draw any power from the car battery. When the vehicle is started, the alarm's built-in battery is fully recharged via the cigarette lighter socket during the journey.
