Water detector SHT 241
The water detector for quick and easy installation!
The SHT 241 socket outlet water detector functions as a purely acoustic detector.
If a certain water level is detected with the mini float switch, a loud acoustic alarm sounds and the LED flashes red.
When the water falls below the specified level, the device automatically stops and the LED lights up green again.
Possible applications / special features:
- Same device as SHT 240, but with plastic float switch
- Simple installation (230 V socket device)
- Acoustic and visual alarm signal
- Also suitable for other liquids (e.g. heating oil, diesel, vegetable oil, lubricating oils, etc.)
- Float switch with 2.5 m cable (can be extended)
The SHT 241 water detector is a quick-to-install socket device for monitoring cellars, washrooms, boiler rooms, cisterns and much more.
The float switch is attached using a mounting bracket (optional, art. no. 300787 or 300320) and the device is plugged into the socket.
A signal transmitter is built in for a loud alarm.
The robust float switch is particularly suitable for dirty water or other non-conductive liquids (e.g. heating oil, diesel, vegetable oil, lubricating oil, etc.).
The switching contact of the float closes from a level of approx. 4 cm and activates the input of the water detector.
The switching function can also be reversed by turning the float body.
Sensor cable extension: If required, you can extend the sensor cable up to 50 m with a cable (max. 2 x 0.14 mm²).
To do this, you must cut the existing sensor cable and reconnect it with terminals.
