Carrierless = twice as fastBecause you do not have to fix the 3.5-inch hard disk in a carrier, you do not need a screwdriver and the installation and removal can be done twice as quickly. Space in a 5.25-inch bay is required. SATA hard disks with the speed of SATA I, II and III are supported.
No fan = whisper quietThe enclosure of the removable frame is made almost completely of aluminium, only the front and back panels are made of hard plastic. Although it is very light, aluminium is very strong and above all it is known for its wonderful thermal conductivity. This means no noisy fan is required, all without damaging the hard disk. An optional 12-V fan can be connected (not included in the scope of delivery).
