PCE-0100 measuring equipment to determine salinity in aqueous and/or pasty media
With this meter, you can quickly and accurately determine the salinity and specific weight. This refractometer is used for measuring salt water/seawater and concentrated salt solutions of all kinds. This is important in sectors such as in the food industry, but also in the sector of fish farming plants.
Instead of the refractometer, the salt content of water/aqueous solutions can also be determined using digital conductivity meters. However, the refractometers are best suited for seawater. What's more, the conductivity is only an indirect measure and you are spared the need for a corresponding conversion or correlation.
