Product benefits: The durometer is a compact Shore D hardness tester designed and to be used for harder materials (e.g. hard rubber, thermoplastics). A 30° conical point and a contact force of 50 Newton are used as an impact rod.
The material samples should not be less than a minimum thickness of 6 mm. If the material sample is thinner, the sample should be reinforced with another sample of the same material on the back side to increase thickness.
