The C.A 773 voltage tester is an indispensable tool for electricians to check the absence of voltage in a circuit, device or system connected to the mains before any intervention.
The tester complies with IEC standard 61243-3, edition 2, and is approved for all systems up to 1000 V CAT IV, indoors and outdoors. To meet the different regulations of some countries, the voltage tester is available in two versions: with or without specially protected test probes IP2X. In addition to the LEDs, the C.A 773 has an illuminated digital display in which the measured values ??are displayed. It is also equipped with a redundant safety system: the LED warning light »ELV« flashes when the applied voltage exceeds 50 VAC / 120 VDC.
The built-in self-test on the C.A 773 monitors the proper functioning of the electrical circuits, power supply, displays and test leads. The device is practical, easy and quick to use, and the rotary field rotation inspection is done by microprocessor on only two conductors. The test of the tripping threshold of RCCBs is additionally protected by a two-hand control. The continuity test with optical and acoustic indication complies with the recommendations of Annex B of the standard. The detection of phantom voltages and the single-pole phase display are also available.
The test probes and test leads are removable. As an option, the socket adapter C.A 753 is available, which considerably simplifies the control of 2P + E-Europa sockets and Schutzkontakt sockets.
