Water sensor SHT 5090
Whether under the radiator, under dishwashers and washing machines or simply under the shower tray cavity: nobody wants to drill into their tiles to install one of the many available water sensors
Possible applications
- Accessories for SHT 5000 and SHT 5001 and as an overflow detector for SHT 5002
Simply laying them down only works in the rarest of cases, it always takes some weight to press the contacts securely to the floor and the cables are usually quite rigid, the lightweight sensors will sooner or later lift off the floor again.
This is where the new SHT 5090 water sensor comes into play: with a weight of around 100 grams and compact dimensions, the sensor can simply be placed on the surface to be monitored and connected to one of our SHT 5000, SHT 5001 or SHT 5002 fixed installation water detectors.
The three spherical electrodes ensure the best connection to the floor and a stable position at all times.
Even if you place your sensor upright against the wall due to a lack of suitable space, e.g. behind a cupboard, the two correct spheres will always touch the floor and your water detector will reliably and safely alert you to the presence of water.
No need to mount or fix the sensor!
