High-speed wireless USB device server with enterprise security (802.1X authentication)
The use of mobile devices in the office is steadily increasing. At the same time, scanners, multi-function printers, dongles, measuring and reading devices and USB hard drives often still do not have a WLAN interface.
The DS-520AN wireless USB device server replaces the USB cable with a wireless connection, thereby simultaneously lifting length restrictions on USB cables (max. 5 m). This allows devices to be used flexibly around the office.
In addition, USB device servers allow the use of equipment by several users back-to-back via the wireless network, meaning lower IT infrastructure procurement costs and more efficient utilization.
Enterprise security — security for professional use beyond simple encryption, which companies and customers can rely on:

Isochronous data transfer mode- Devices such as industrial USB cameras (full and high speed) and audio devices such as speakers that require continuous and near-real-time data transmission can also be used in a network environment.
- Using isochronous USB devices is very complex and not all devices can be used in the wireless network. Checking compatibility is strongly recommended.
Wireless print server• The DS-520AN can be used as a wireless print server. The network printing protocols ''RAW'' and ''LPR'' are supported.
• You can also add a WIFI interface to printers with built-in LAN card. This enables use of the printer by several users, including from different network segments.
Example: Printer can be used from separate network segments (e.g. research/open guest network) thanks to additional interface.
