A magnetic sensor on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information via a thin cable to a built-in receiver fitted in the extractor hood housing.

With this setup, the fan motor can be controlled independently, so that the extractor hood lighting works independently of the switching status of the receiver. The system is equipped with an isolated changeover contact.
The control line is connected to the controller and the proximity switch. Ideal for retrofitting when the control line has already been laid!
