JUMO dTRANS T05 2-wire programmable measuring transducer
- For installation in terminal head, type B
Description
The measuring transducer measures the temperature using a resistance thermometer, thermocouple, resistance potentiometer/WFG or resistance transmitter. If a resistance transmitter or resistance thermometer is used, the input-side sensor connection can be a 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire circuit. Voltage signals in the range of -100 ... +1100 mV can also be registered linearly. Depending on the choice of measuring input, the linearisation variants are available linear or temperature linear. A convenient, configurable customer-specific linearisation is also possible.
Type 707050 provides an output signal of 4 ... 20 mA. The measurement input and the output signal are electrically isolated from each other. This type enables a reversion of the output signal.
The configuration of the measuring transducer, as regards the sensor type, connection system of the sensor, measuring range (freely configurable) and linearisation, is carried out with the aid of a setup program on a computer. Connection to a PC is made using a USB interface, which requires no additional auxiliary voltage. Via the USB interface, the min./max. process values registered by the measuring transducer, the min./max. operating temperature, can be read and the sensor wiring checked online.
The operational condition of the measuring transducer is signalled using a two-colour indicator LED (red/green). During trouble-free operation, the light is green. If there is a problem, such as a sensor break, this is indicated with a flashing code.
