Simply plug the GX-B1pro gas detector with internal sensor into a socket at a suitable height, without any installation work.
Gas detector GX-B2pro with external sensor simply plug into a socket and position the external sensor at a suitable height.
The appropriate height depends on the gas to be detected.
For methane, i.e. natural gas, the sensor is positioned upwards, approx. 30 cm below the ceiling.
For butane and propane, i.e. gas from cylinders, the sensor is mounted about 30 cm above the floor.
The systems are activated at gas concentrations that are far below dangerous levels.
You are warned twice, with a visual and a loud acoustic signal.
These gas detectors are easy to test with the pressure and volume-reduced gas from a lighter.
