The ultrasonic frequencies are extremely high pitched, so humans usually cannot hear them.
Nocturnal animals will be frightened by the LED flash.
For saving power, the PIR motion sensor only triggers when a living creature moves in front of it.
For charging the included batteries, the Solar Animal Repeller uses an extra large solar panel.
In case of cloudy weather or during winter it can be recharged on a USB port.
Thanks to the included ground spike and the hangers on the back of the device, finding a suitable place for the device is easy.
It can also be set on a flat surface.
