Product benefits:The RS485 to USB interface converter is required to connect various Modbus devices to the PC. The RS485 interface converter to USB enables parameters of Modbus devices to be changed via software (note compatibility). Up to 32 Modbus devices can be connected to a PC via the interface converter. The two interfaces of the converter are galvanically isolated from each other, so destruction of the PCs or Modbus devices is excluded.
The converter does not alter the structure of the transmitted data and is compatible with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS ASCII, MODBUS RTU, LUMBUS etc. The data transfer is reported in the converter using two TxD and RxD signal diodes. The RS485 to USB interface converter is a portable device powered by the USB interface. It is intended for laboratory and industrial applications.
