With the external USB sound card ICUSBAUDIO2D, you can add a digital S/PDIF audio output and a standard 3.5 mm audio/microphone connector to your system via USB, so you can virtually bypass or replace an internal sound card without opening the computer case.
For home theater quality sound, the USB DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) provides 96 kHz/24-bit sample rate for both playback and recording and a 3.5 mm S/PDIF port with support for Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound (AC3) and DTS pass-through (Note: 5.1 surround sound is supported only on Windows®).
This versatile USB audio adapter has a built-in 4-pin 3.5 mm TRRS connector for headphones or a headset/microphone combination. Is also a handy external volume control for quick settings, a hardware EQ switch for bass or treble amplification and an LED status bar for displaying the current sample rate.
