CORDIAL's CES 02 passive 2-channel DI box concept follows the trend towards stereo outputs on keyboards, samplers and effects devices, and provides a convenient way to connect line level outputs to balanced mixing desk inputs with microphone level sensitivity.
One practical feature is the option to loop signals through both via the 6.3-mm jack and via the cinch/RCA connection, which is frequently found on semi-professional CD/minidisc/cassette/DAT players. From an electrical perspective, the CES 02 has a completely earth-separated internal structure, allowing two mono signals to be transmitted without crosstalk. The CES 02 does not require batteries or phantom power.
