The testo 104-IR insertion infrared thermometer is ideal for checking the temperature of foodstuffs. Compactly stowed in your jacket pocket, it is always with you and immediately to hand at the goods receiving area, during transports or on the inspection tour in the retail trade.
With its precise 2-point laser with 10:1 optics, the testo 104-IR displays the exact measuring range and enables error-free measurement of surface temperatures. Particularly in incoming goods, it scans the surface temperature of individual foodstuffs or entire pallets of goods quickly, easily and without contact. The fold-out piercing probe also allows the core temperature to be measured in case of doubt - for example, for meat and sausage products. The piercing probe is therefore often used when the surface temperature measured by infrared is above or below the limit value and the core temperature measurement is useful for checking purposes. After the measurement, the piercing probe is safely stored on the device.
