The TPE-113GI Gigabit PoE injector combines a power and a Gigabit network connection to form a single Gigabit PoE signal (powered by Ethernet). The injector is connected to a non-PoE-capable switch and connected to the PoE devices via an Ethernet cable up to 100 meters (328 feet) long.
A dedicated PoE switch is not required to install TRENDnet's PoE access points and IP cameras in remote locations. To save installation and equipment costs, simply use the free connection of any non-PoE-capable switch. Short-circuit protection ensures that your precious network resources are always secure. With this compact device, you can quickly build a Gigabit network of PoE and non-PoE-enabled components.
