With a jaw width of 100 mm, the SPANNFIX 4.0 is the largest ball joint vice on the market and impresses with its clamping pins, its exchangeable jaws, its centering eye and its outstanding ball clamping force.
The ball joint allows the head of the SPANNFIX to rotate 360° and tilt up to 90°. It is possible to work at any conceivable angle. Different shapes are also no problem. Whether round or square. The 4 clamping horns adapt to the product in shape and size. They are rotatable in the axis and have a firm grip on every object. The centering eye ensures plumb-line correct working. The work piece can be aligned and processed in scales.
In addition to the clamping horns, the SPANNFIX has profiled steel jaws, which are designed as reversible jaws and can be replaced. They have a smooth side as well as a side with a stepped edge and two vertical grooves that prevent rods and bolts, for example, from slipping (pipe clamping jaws). An integrated ruler offers the possibility to read off the clamping depth directly on the vice. The 105 mm clamping width can thus be used in the best possible way.
The innovative foot section including table clamp allows the SPANNFIX to be attached to straight table edges of up to 80 mm, but also to the table corner itself - the optimal position to use the entire 330 mm working radius of the SPANNFIX 4.0.
