The MK28 proximity switch responds to all magnetically conductive materials.
Instead of a magnet, a piece of iron between the two magnet bridges activates the sensor.
MK28 reed sensors are an excellent alternative to a light barrier and consume no power.
The sensor is therefore suitable for a wide range of applications, including positioning and detection systems, security uses such as door and window control and incremental counting devices.
