The EX-1179HMVS provides 7 screw-mountable USB downstream ports with 15-kV ESD over-voltage protection. It is therefore possible to connect up to seven external USB peripherals to one USB 2.0 port on a computer in the 19'' rack. The supplied A connector to B connector EX-K1542V cable (1.8 metres) can be attached without a screwdriver to the EX-1179HMVS using thumb screws. In addition, the terminal block can be plugged in to connect the voltage. The hub meets the special requirements of industrial applications. The product is very compact and robust.
