Removing scaling from soldering tips often proves to be an ever-growing problem. The GEK 10 can re-activate soldering tips that no longer take solder in minimum time.

Lead-free solder alloys are considerably more aggressive than those that contain lead. Passive soldering tips and desoldering nozzles are generally scrubbed in practice with steel brushes and used again for a short period. Doing this damages the alloy on the soldering tip and seriously limits the service life.
GEK 10 reactivates the soldering tips using renewable raw materials and not using a cocktail of chemicals containing halogen.
