The handy hub with 12-m long USB connection cable allows the connection of up to four USB peripherals at a greater distance from the PC. This means that the user is almost independent of the location of the devices to be connected (e.g. printers).
The power supply is via the USB interface from the PC or an optional power supply (5 VDC, 2 A) can be connected for power-hungry devices.
If you want to connect USB devices at an even greater distance, you can extend the extension by another 12 m with a USB 2.0 repeater cable. The active USB 2.0 extension can be connected in series with up to four extension cables, resulting in a total length of up to 60 m.
The USB 2.0 repeater cable (only suitable for 12.04.1085) is available under 12.04.1086.
