The NF-A12x25r is the round frame version of Noctua's award-winning 120-mm flagship model NF-A12x25. Its round shape makes it ideal for use on low-profile dual-tower CPU coolers such as the NH-D12L, as well as for other applications where space constraints do not allow the use of 120-mm, square-frame fans.
Just like the square NF-A12x25, the round NF-A12x25r has an unprecedented narrow impeller gap of just 0.5mm, which is made possible by the use of the new Sterrox® liquid crystal polymer (LCP) mixture and a metal-reinforced hub and axle clamp.
Caution:
The round frame version of the NF-A12x25r has hole spacing of 93x83 mm. This version is therefore incompatible with commercially available square fans that require hole spacing of 105x105 mm for use in PC enclosures, water cooling radiators or CPU coolers. Please use the classic square NF-A12x25 for such applications.
