"With this adapter from Delock, the audio signal can be decoupled from an HDMI transmission.
While the image signal is displayed on a TV or monitor, the audio signal can be output to a surround receiver via the second HDMI connection.
This means that an existing AV receiver or soundbar can still be used, even if no suitable Ultra HD connection is available.
HDMI HD Audio OutputUnlike conventional digital S/PDIF audio outputs, all modern surround formats can be transmitted to the receiver via the HDMI audio output.
Audio Return Channel (ARC)Alternatively, the eARC function can be activated on the extractor.
Then the audio signal of the connected TV device is output at the HDMI audio port of the device.
