For this purpose, the new Category 8.1 was created with Ethernet variants 25GBASE-T / 40GBASE-T and transmission rates of 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps at a maximum frequency of 2000 MHz and a maximum transmission distance of 30 meters.
Each patch cable is tested on completion with a Fluke DSX-8000 Channel Link.
The test protocol is attached to the patch cable.
Further product features include the industry-standard RJ45 Cat.
8.1 connector with 50µ gold-plated contact surfaces, as well as the latch protection and the halogen-free cable jacket.
