This Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 extender bridges distances of up to 50 m between two USB devices and the computer. The extender's transmitter and receiver are connected with an inexpensive Cat.6 network cable (not included). We recommend the use of patch cables with rigid cores to achieve the best possible performance and compatibility.
The bi-directional POC (Power over Cable) functionality offers additional flexibility. This enables power to be supplied alongside data via a Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning that only a single power supply is required at the transmitter or receiver.
