The Ultimaker S5 Air Manager improves air quality and increases material flexibilityThe Air Manager is a cover for the top of the S5 3D printer. This cover allows better results to be achieved when printing complex technical materials by keeping heat in the pressure range and reducing draught. An EPA fine particle filter simultaneously filters up to 95% of the resulting fine particles. The physical barrier to the assembly space of the printer also increases safety at work by preventing interference while the machine is running. The Air Manager is integrated into the manufacturer's ecosystem. The UMB port on the printer connects the Air Manager to the 3D printer. Ultimaker Cura Software provides customised profiles and guidance and recommendations for using the Air Manager. The software also automatically recommends whether the system should be in an open or closed space based on the material in use, as well as automatically regulating the speed of the fan in the cover.
