Temperature/humidity sensor for GUDE devices with RJ45 sensor connection (RJ45 socket) for reliable environmental monitoring
The 7205-2 sensor contains a combined temperature and humidity sensor. Both parameters are measured and evaluated simultaneously. The hybrid sensor is quickly and conveniently put into operation and automatically recognised. No further settings are required. Instead of a fixed cable connection, an RJ45 socket is integrated. This allows the combination sensor to be connected with a shielded RJ45 cable up to 40 m long. Often, cables that have already been laid can be used for this purpose.
The sensor allows real-time monitoring of the ambient temperature and humidity. Thanks to the maximum cable length of 40 m, it can be placed in the optimal location in the infrastructure. This means that overheating or humidity levels in the IT or AV environment that could endanger operations can be detected early, before costly failures occur. Automatic alerts when sensor limit values are exceeded or not met enable the user to intervene proactively and prevent serious escalations.
