The DDCP Link offers users and network managers an easy way to protect expensive and mobile IT equipment with LAN ports from damage. Should the mobile IT equipment need to move in a larger radius than permitted by the connected RJ45 connection cable, the DDCP Link cuts the connection once a specific tensile force is exceeded and protects the expensive boards in the IT equipment from damage such as torn-out contacts or loss of the RJ45 connector for the network connection.
