"The NV-MPP1 SX4 is a set of four NV-MPP1 multi-purpose vibration damping pads for Noctua 120x25-mm and 140x25-mm fans.
When mounted in the ""stand"" position, they are an excellent and simple solution for placing a fan on a flat surface and blowing it to the side, for example, to create additional airflow on the desk or toward devices with side vents.
Attached to the intake side of the fan, the pads can be used to place a fan under small devices such as switches, routers or set-top boxes with vents at the bottom to blow cool air into the device.
In this way, the pads can also be used to place fans on A/V receivers or other devices with vents at the top to dissipate warm air.
