Description

Preventing electromagnetic pollution e.g. engineers' rooms by mains isolation of the electrical installation when no consumer is active.

1 normally open contact not potential-free 16 A/250 V AC, 2300 W light bulbs.

Stand-by loss only 0.8 W.

The mains disconnection relay FR12-230V interrupts the power supply after shutting off downstream
consumers and thus prevents interfering electromagnetic fields.

Small consumers are permitted up to a current consumption of 200 mA, which after
shutting down larger consumers do not prevent mains isolation. The limit value must
not be set manually, but is learned by the FR12.

Consumers with more than 200 mA current consumption are always defined as consumers that are intended to
induce the switching of the mains voltage.

As long as no larger consumer is switched on, the monitored 1-pin circuit remains switched off from the mains supply. Neutral and protective conductors are not switched to
prevent an antenna effect.

Modular device for assembling on mounting rail DIN-EN 60715 TH35.
1 isolator unit = 18 mm wide, 58 mm deep.
Supply and switching voltage: 230 V.
