The SMB/SMC/SMS series connectors are available with three different coupling types: SMB connectors have snap-action technology that ensures a fast but secure connection and can be used up to a frequency of 4 GHz. SMC connectors have vibration-resistant screw connections and can be used up to a frequency of 10 GHz. SMS connectors are plugin connections that require only low plugin and pull-out forces and are therefore particularly suitable for plugin housings. They can be used up to a frequency of 4 GHz.
The SMB/SMC/SMS series connectors have a impedance of 50 ohm. Connector variants are available for flexible, semi-flexible and semi-rigid cables. The SMB/SMC/SMS series PCB connectors are available in solder and press-fit versions. Cables are connected by soldering or crimping. The SMB/SMC/SMS series connectors are used in a variety of electronic devices.
