This Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 extender bridges distances of up to 50 m between four USB devices and a computer. The extender's transmitter and receiver unit are connected using a Cat.5e/6 network cable (not included). We recommend the use of patch cables with rigid cores to achieve the best possible performance and compatibility.
Power is supplied by the RJ45 cable: in other words if you connect the supplied power supply to the transmitter, you no longer need power to the receiver and have more flexibility in its installation.
The rugged aluminium housing with mounting brackets makes this extender ideal for use in industrial applications.
