The radio light switch works like a conventional light switch for wall and ceiling lights, but can also be controlled with a radio control element, via app or voice command. It is flush-mounted in an existing switch box and replaces most 1-pole light switches indoors. The simple design blends in well with your living environment. Due to the simple conversion or the quick dismantling, this switch is also suitable for tenants.

Manual operation of the light switch
On the one hand, you can operate the wireless light switch via the flat pushbutton and switch the light on or off manually.

Radio and time control for lights
On the other hand, it is possible to control the lights with radio in combination with a Schellenberg radio control element. For this purpose, you can use a Schellenberg radio hand-held transmitter or one of the Schellenberg radio time switches. The latter additionally offer the possibility to switch the ceiling or wall light on or off automatically at certain times. This allows you to simulate your presence when you leave the house for a longer period of time.

Control lighting via app
The wireless light switch is a smart home product. This allows it to be optionally integrated into a smart home system from Schellenberg or Smart Friends. All you need for this is the respective smart home control panel. The lighting can then be controlled via the wireless switch with the Smart Home app using a smartphone or tablet. In addition, schedules and actions can be set in combination with other products for automatic lighting control.

Alexa, turn off the lights
Do you like to use your smart voice assistant from Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, then the Smart Friends system can be a convenient addition. If the wireless light switch is integrated into the Smart Friends system and the remote home function is activated, you can turn the lights on or off with the voice assistants by voice command. This is especially convenient when the smartphone or tablet is not at hand.
