The ALL-SG8205PD supports PoE pass-through, it combines PD (Powered Device) and PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) in one device, which means that the switch can be powered by a PSE device via the PD port over network cables (CAT 5 or higher).
At the same time, it can also power other devices via the two PSE ports.
For example, you can connect a wireless AP or VoIP phone (PD devices) to this switch and do not need an additional power port for these devices, this makes installation easier.
The ALL-SG8205PD supports over-current protection and short-circuit protection to enhance network security.
