Powerful alarm siren for reliable acoustic and visual signalling, e.g. in the event of burglary
The Homematic IP outdoor alarm siren provides reliable audible and visual alarms within the Homematic IP Smart Home system.
Via the wireless alarm siren - outside, burglaries or other events can be reliably signalled acoustically and optically. For this purpose, the outdoor siren has two powerful piezo loudspeakers as well as eye-catching signal LEDs, which are housed in a weatherproof housing with IP44 protection. The alarm can be triggered, for example, by a Homematic IP motion detector or a Homematic IP window and door contact. Thanks to the direct connection between the devices, the alarm trigger works reliably even if there is no Internet connection or if the Homematic IP Access Point or the central CCU2/CCU3 units fail. In addition, the siren has a sabotage contact which triggers the alarm in the event of unauthorised dismantling attempts.
Thanks to the sustainable power supply via solar cell in connection with a buffer battery, no separate power supply is required for installation. The alarm siren can thus also be installed in places that are difficult to access. The battery ensures reliable operation even at night or on cloudy days. In addition, the siren can also be recharged via the Micro-USB port if required.
