Description
Continuous and automatic venting
The valves automatically and continuously vent water-bearing systems such as radiators, pipe registers, pipes, boilers, tanks and underfloor heating manifolds.
This automatic function improves operational safety (corrosion reduction) and increases user comfort (no air noise).
Manual quick venting enables systems to be filled quickly due to the high venting capacity.
It is possible that a few drops of water may escape during initial start-up while the swelling disks are still dry. This no longer occurs during operation.
Advantages:
- Reliable and durable function
- Versatile use in water-bearing systems
- Additional quick manual venting
- Built-in automatic shut-off device, therefore no draining of the system when replacing the valve insert
The automatic function of the valve is based on the swelling capacity of a disk in the valve insert. When dry, the swelling disks allow air and gas to escape. The immediate swelling prevents water from escaping. Manual venting is achieved by loosening the knurled screw and allows air and gas to escape.
Chemical additives in the heating water can reduce the service life of the swelling disks. However, the valve insert (incl. seal and swelling disks) can be replaced in this case thanks to an automatic non-return mechanism built into the deaerator.
