With the radio-controlled socket for outdoor use, various electrical devices such as lamps can be switched on or off remotely, either manually or automatically. The radio-controlled socket is an intermediate plug with smart radio reception and is plugged into a conventional grounded socket. The electrical device is then connected to the radio-controlled socket and can now be controlled remotely with its help. For the control you need additionally a Schellenberg radio transmitter. With this, up to 5 radio-controlled sockets can be switched on and off simultaneously per transmission channel. The smart radio-controlled socket is optimized for outdoor use, is splash-proof and weatherproof and can be used, for example, for the remote control of a lawn sprinkler or a chain of lights.
You have even more operating options if a Smart Home System from Smart Friends is available in your household. The radio-controlled socket can then be integrated into the Smart Friends system as an additional component and controlled via a smartphone or tablet using the Smart Friends app. It is also possible to combine and automate it with other smart devices. If the remote home function is activated on the Smart Friends Box, the radio-controlled socket can also be controlled while on the move or connected to an Amazon Echo or Google Home product. This enables the additional control of the radio-controlled socket via voice command.
