The NH-D15 G2 represents the second and improved generation of the iconic Noctua NH-D15. Thanks to 2x state-of-the-art NF-A14x25r G2 PWM fans with speed offset, 8x heatpipes and asymmetric cooling towers that have been carefully optimised for use with the new fans, it achieves even higher cooling performance compared to its award-winning predecessor, while maintaining excellent running smoothness.
Special Low-Base-Convexity (LBC) version
The Low-Base-Convexity (LBC) version achieves optimum contact quality on relatively flat CPUs. This makes it ideal for AM5, even if offset mounting is not used or if users want to combine CCD temperatures as low as possible with as IOP temperatures as low as possible. The LBC version is also recommended for AM4, LGA2066 and LGA2011 (free NM-i20xx mounting kit required), direct die applications and CPUs that have been flat ground or modified with customer-installed flat heatspreaders.
