The NH-L9a-AM5 chromax.black is an all-black version of Noctua's award-winning low-profile cooler NH-L9a-AM5, designed for HTPCs and small form factor (SFF) systems. The recipe for success remains unchanged thanks to the same super-flat heat sink and the proven NF-A9x14 PWM premium fan: strong cooling performance and excellent smoothness with a height of just 37 mm, coupled with 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility.
The chromax.black version with its black fan and black-coated heat sink also combines these advantages with a cool stealth design.

The NH-L9a-AM5 is a quiet, extremely compact low-profile cooler designed for use in small cases and HTPC environments. The cooler has excellent cooling performance in its class, but is not suitable for overclocking or CPUs with high heat emissions.
