Description
BENNING PV 1-1+ photovoltaic installation tester
- Testing to DIN EN 62446 (VDE 0126-23)
- Simple - operate via buttons
- Fast - perform tests in just a few seconds
- Safe - risk-free measuring connection, even when the photovoltaic system is supplying energy
A photovoltaic system must be tested and documented in accordance with VDE 0126-23 prior to commissioning and during repeated tests. In addition, electrical measurements are also useful after cleaning and maintenance work to continue to guarantee optimal and low-loss function of the photovoltaic system.
The test includes continuity testing of the earthing and equipotential bonding conductors between the photovoltaic generator and the main earthing terminal, measurement of the open-circuit voltage and the short-circuit current in the photovoltaic string as well as the insulation resistance between the active DC conductors (+/-) of the photovoltaic generator and earth. The BENNING PV 1-1+ uses contact-protected test leads with standardised connectors for direct connection to photovoltaic modules or strands. The automatic test sequence warns about incorrect DC polarity and takes over all necessary circuitry to ensure a safe measurement.
