Description
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) brings the power of the Raspberry Pi 5 to the Compute Module family. As with the existing members of the Compute Module series, the CM5 offers various eMMC memory options (from 0 GB (Lite) up to 64 GB) as well as different DRAM capacities (2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and for the first time 16 GB).
- Available with eMMC memory from 0 GB (Lite) to 64 GB
- DRAM options: 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB
- Wireless and non-wireless variants available
- Same naming scheme as the Compute Module 4
The Compute Module 5 extends the flexibility of the series with improved memory and performance capacity. The variants offer the option of choosing between wireless and non-wireless models and different memory sizes for different requirements. The familiar naming scheme of the Compute Module 4 is retained to enable easy identification and integration into existing systems.
Conclusion: The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 offers significant improvements in performance and memory options and is suitable for developers who want to utilize the computing power of the Raspberry Pi 5 in modular embedded systems.
