Breaking the 100-meter PoE distance limitation.
The GS-1008PL V2 supports PoE power delivery over a distance of up to 200 meters and, when PoE Extend is set to ''ON'', overcomes the 100-meter limit of Ethernet UTP cable.
The GS-1008PL V2 provides an additional solution for 802.3at/af PoE distance extension, saving the cost of Ethernet cable installation.

The GS-1008PL V2 features a port-based VLAN in which ports can be easily isolated from each other.
This can help prevent multicast or broadcast storms of IP cameras from interfering with each other.
Simple hardware QoS.
Supports 802.1p QoS via DIP switches on port 4, ensuring that video and voice traffic have top priority to reduce packet loss, latency, and jitter on the network.
Safe power backfeed protection.
Each port is equipped with power backfeed protection to prevent damage to PoE ports while non-standard power devices are connected.
