Reliably detects open or closed windows and doors via an integrated infrared light barrier - INVISIBLY MOUNTED
The Homematic IP window and door contact for concealed installation unobtrusively monitors doors and windows within the Homematic IP smart home system. The 15 mm flat sensor is glued to the inside of the frame in just a few simple steps, where it reliably detects the respective state of the window with the help of a photoelectric sensor. Once installed, the window and door contact enables the automatic lowering of the room temperature during ventilation or also the triggering of the Homematic IP siren in the event of unauthorized access by third parties. A built-in sabotage contact reliably detects unwanted manipulation or disassembly of the sensor. The Homematic IP app also displays the respective status at any time. Two micro batteries supply the sensor with power for up to four years.
- Concealed installation in frames of plastic windows or doors and easy mounting with supplied adhesive strips
- when the window or door is closed, the device is not visible and therefore particularly inconspicuous
- for installation a minimum distance of 15 mm between frame and sash is required
- during ventilation the room temperature is automatically lowered in connection with the Homematic IP radiator thermostat
- if desired, an alarm can be triggered as soon as a window or door is opened, e.g. in combination with the Homematic IP siren
- Open windows and doors are displayed directly in the Homematic IP app - so the current status can be viewed at any time, even when on the road
- the built-in tamper contact informs via the app if the window and door contact is tampered with
- can be operated with the access point in conjunction with the Homematic IP app (without follow-up costs), the Homematic CCU2 central control unit as well as with many partner solutions
