The GS1200 Series PoE + Switches provide true web management, QoS, and support for 802.3af and 802.3at PoE +, as well as an easy-to-use setup interface. Smart PoE + 802.3af / 802.3at support
The GS1200 series supports the IEEE 802.3at standard and provides a maximum of 30 watts per port (with a maximum total budget of 60 watts) to power PoE network devices such as wireless APs, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. Web GUI management allows you to monitor the power status on each port and/or restart the network devices as needed.
IGMP snooping to optimize traffic delivery
Based on the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) polling and reporting messages, the switch routes traffic only to the ports that request the multicast traffic, not to all ports. It helps optimize multicast performance and is particularly useful for bandwidth-intensive IP multicast applications such as online media streaming and gaming.
VLAN separation for improved network security
VLAN (virtual local network) can be used to separate traffic within an organization, for example, to isolate resources between network administrators and general users, or between employees and public guest users.
