Description

General

The Analog Discovery Studio is a fully functional, portable test and measurement instrument that can transform any cross-functional room into a pop-up electronics lab. Equipped with 13 instruments, including an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, waveform generator, and more, the Analog Discovery Studio provides a full stack of bench-top instruments with a convenient, interchangeable, breadboarded interface that's perfect for students to learn anywhere.

As lab space becomes less available and student enrollment increases, many institutions are opting for studio learning to supplement traditional labs, creating a need for a portable test and measurement device that can support all types of circuit projects. With an Analog Discovery Studio, students can continue their hands-on learning in the library, in office hours, in a tutoring center, in a classroom, at home, or even in a coffee shop.
The Analog Discovery Studio supports hands-on learning for any student and is available with free Mac, Linux and Windows compatible WaveForms software.

The Analog Discovery Studio is designed to be a compact alternative to a stack of desktop units. Its rugged case measures 1.25 x 9.25 x 7.5 inches and fits on a table, desk or in a backpack. Students can access the oscilloscope and waveform generators via breadboard-enabled MTE cables or industry-standard BNC cables, while the logic analyzer, pattern generator, and triggers are accessible via MTE cables.

Circuits or designs can be built on the included magnetically-connected Breadboard Canvas and conveniently swapped out or removed for transport, making the transition from lab work to home work as seamless as possible. The Breadboard Canvas also features power outputs controlled by physical switches, integrated general I/O, and a large breadboard area. The Breadboard Canvas and the cost-optimized Blank Canvas can be purchased separately if another is needed or the breadboards are worn out.
