PeakTech® P 2720 PAT tester for portable devicesOur new device tester is the ideal tool for checking the safety of electrical appliances according to DGUV regulation 3 and German health and safety regulations (BetrSichV).
It allows the current supplied to the productive conductor or touch current to be precisely measured using leakage current procedures.
The device complies with the DIN EN 50678 (VDE 0701) procedure for checking the effectiveness of protective measures after repairs and the DIN EN 50699 (VDE 0702) procedure for repeat testing.
Thanks to the large, inverted LCD display with backlight, the measurement results can be clearly read in all light conditions.
The device tester is easy to use: With only three buttons, you can perform tests for protection class I and II devices as well as extension cables.
The simple pass/fail function for the Riso (insulation resistance), RPE (protective conductor resistance) and IEA (replacement leakage current method) measurement methods immediately indicates whether the test object has passed the test.
In addition, the device tester can check the wiring of outlets and carry out a mains voltage measurement via the protective contact connector.
