The nozzle is made of a 360-degree brass base material and has a TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest friction coefficients. The TwinClad XT coating is also very hard and abrasion resistant. If you work with abrasive carbon fibre, stainless steel, wood-filled or other metal-filled filaments, this coating will significantly improve the life of your nozzle.
