Watch out, ticks!
Summertime is tick time. The warm temperatures and dense vegetation are ideal living conditions for the little bloodsuckers. However, you will not only encounter them in the forest or on wild meadows, but also in your own garden or on the beach, for example. It is therefore not always possible to prevent a tick bite. However, with the right measures, the risk of a bite and possible infection can be greatly minimized:
1. avoid tall grass and undergrowth
2. wear long, light-colored, close-fitting clothing
3. apply tick repellent
4. check your body for ticks every time you are outdoors
If a tick does bite, it should be removed as quickly and safely as possible. That's why we've put together everything you need in a lightweight pouch that can be easily attached to a rucksack or belt loop using the carabiner. In addition to tick tweezers, it also contains wound cleaning wipes for aftercare and plaster strips to cover and mark the puncture site.
Handy bag made of coated nylon fabric with snap hook for attaching.
