An almost empty smartphone battery is pretty annoying on the go, but this is a nearly daily phenomenon. With constant connectivity and the associated increasing demands on battery life, new creative ideas are needed to make our everyday life easier. XLayer had such an idea with a smartphone charging cable that is also a key fob. The compact design is an accessory for the key ring and, at the same time, a reliable solution when a charging cable is needed.
The ultra-flat cable is securely attached to the key fob by a fixed click catch and can be compactly folded up to a size of seven centimetres. Unfolded, you get a 20-cm long charging cable, which is ready for use at any time and at any charger with a USB connector. Due to its excellent workmanship it is very flexible and shows no signs of wear even after frequent use.
